The Automatic Pellet Abrasion Machine is an electromechanical equipment with pneumatic drives, served by several position identification sensors, which generate the information, for the PLC command action. It consists of a metal drum with a pivoted lid actuated pneumatically by cylinders, coupled to a gearmotor equipped with magnetic brakes and activated via a frequency inverter. Magnetic induction detection sensors inform the drum's position, in addition to the lid's condition: open or closed.

 

The Drum Equipment adapts to the desired standard, with the number of turns in a test being a programmable parameter by the HMI. May also include feeding and weighing systems if required.
